Volumes jump at Minda Industries counter

Sabero Organics Gujarat, Reliance Power, Coromandel International and Eicher Motors are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 26 March 2014.

Minda Industries clocked volume of 10.73 lakh shares by 13:42 IST on BSE, a 3352.41-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 320 shares. The stock rose 3.18% at Rs 198.

Sabero Organics Gujarat notched up volume of 4.69 lakh shares, a 103.7-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 5,000 shares. The stock rose 1.52% at Rs 120.50.

Reliance Power (RPower) saw volume of 6.62 crore shares, a 94.49-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 7.02 lakh shares. The stock rose 1.3% at Rs 66.45 after a block deal of 6.50 crore shares was executed in the counter on BSE at Rs 66.05 per share in opening trade today, 26 March 2014. The block deal constitutes 2.31% of RPower's equity.

Coromandel International clocked volume of 6.80 lakh shares, a 61.71-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 11,000 shares. The stock lost 1.26% at Rs 208.25.

Eicher Motors saw volume of 77,000 shares, a 48.3-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 2,000 shares. The stock lost 1.11% at Rs 5,884.35.
