Director Jawahar Mithran, known for helming several remakes in his career, will now direct an official Tamil-Telugu bilingual remake of Malayalam film "100 Degree Celsius".
The project is yet untitled.
"It's going to be a women-centric film. We've so far finalized Raai Laxmi and Nikesha Patel. The rest of the cast will be finalized soon. The regular shooting will start from next month," Jawahar told IANS.
The film, based on real events, revolves around the lives of five women - a banker, homemaker, IT professional, TV reporter and college goer.
"It won't be a frame-to-frame remake. We're going to make changes to suit Tamil sensibilities," he said.
Jawahar has made four films so far in his career and all have been remakes.
