At least 13 people were killed and three others injured on Monday when a speeding lorry rammed into a minibus along Singida-Dodoma highway in central Tanzania's Singida region.
Singida regional police commander Godfrey Kamwela told over telephone that the accident occurred in a village called Isuna in Ikungi district when a lorry smashed into a Toyota Noah minibus, Xinhua reported.
The minibus was coming from Itigi town through Manyoni to Singida Municipality, an area located about 570 km from the country's commercial capital of Dar es Salaam.
