15 militants killed in Afghan air strike

At least 15 militants were killed and five others injured on Monday in an air strike in Afghanistan's Kunduz province.

"Acting upon intelligence report, the warplanes targeted Taliban hideouts in Chardara district," a security official said.

After recapturing Kunduz city from Taliban in mid-October, government forces have been chasing the militants elsewhere in the province, Xinhua news agency reported.
