More than 2,000 security personnel will secure Wednesday's UEFA Champions League match between Real Madrid and Napoli at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium.
It is expected that more than 4,000 Italian fans will attend the first leg of the Champions League last 16 round, report Efe.
The match is considered high-risk, which prompted the authorities to strengthen safety measures for fans.
It is expected that a total of 4,257 Napoli fans will attend the game with tickets, but nearly 1,000 supporters will come to Madrid without tickets, while Santiago Bernabeu stadium accommodates 79,000 spectators.
Most Italian fans are expected to arrive in Madrid on charter flights on Wednesday morning.
