US ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley told reporters Wednesday that "all options are on the table" for North Korea after emergency closed consultations of the Security Council on Pyongyang.
The US was revaluating how it must deal with North Korea after the country's repeated missile tests, she said, adding that the US has to see "some sort of positive action" from North Korea before it can take Kim Jong Un's regime seriously and discuss ways to reduce tensions on the Korean peninsula, Xinhua reported.
Immediately following the Security Council consultations on North Korea recent missile launches on Wednesday morning, Haley joined a joint stakeout with Ambassador Koro Bessho, Permanent Representative of Japan to the UN, and Ambassador Cho Tae-yul, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Korea to the UN.
