It was yet another hot, sunny day in the national capital Tuesday as the maximum temperature settled a notch above average at 41.7 degrees Celsius. The Met office has forecast similar weather on Wednesday.
"The skies will remain clear through the day and will turn cloudy towards the evening. The heat wave will continue," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum and minimum temperatures will hover around 43 and 29 degrees Celsius.
Tuesday's minimum temperature was a notch above average at 28.2 degrees Celsius. The day's maximum humidity settled at 76 percent.
Monday's maximum temperature was 40.3 degrees Celsius, average for this time of year, while the minimum settled a notch above average at 28.8 degrees Celsius.
