Athletic Bilbao striker Aritz Aduriz said he would like to get selected in the Spain squad and be called in March for the friendlies against Italy and Romania in preparation for Euro 2016 in France.
The Basque striker, who this season scored 20 goals with Athletic, is on the shortlist of candidates to join the Spanish team in the next commitments, as has been pointed out on numerous occasions by coach Vicente del Bosque, reports Efe.
The striker, who turns 35 on Thursday, said he is very flattered by the words of the coach and added that he has major respect for him, noting that he would "of course" go if selected.
