All-rounder Stuart Binny Tuesday replaced injured medium pacer Varun Aaron in the Indian cricket team for the second and third One-Day Internationals (ODI) to be played against Sri Lanka.
"Varun Aaron is injured and he has been replaced by Stuart Binny in the Indian team for the second and third games of the India vs Sri Lanka ODI series," Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Sanjay Patel said.
The 25-year-old Aaron injured a quadricep muscle in his right leg during the first ODI Sunday and left the field after bowling 4.1 overs at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack.
The second match of the series will be played in Ahmedabad Thursday.
