NBA Hall of Famer Larry Bird has said he believed both Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett had a bright future in Brooklyn Nets, despite their age.
Boston Celtics sent Pierce, Garnett and Jason Terry to Nets in a deal last month, reported Xinhua.
"I think they've both been pretty healthy throughout their careers. They haven't had the major injuries that I had," said Bird.
Pierce, 35, spent his first 15 seasons with Celtics helping them to win the NBA title in 2008, together with Garnett. He was ranked second in Boston all-time scoring list.
