The AAP and the BJP Saturday traded charges against each other on the day of the Delhi assembly election.
While Bharatiya Janata Party's chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi accused Aam Aadmi Party workers of bribing voters, the AAP complained to the Election Commission against Bedi for violating the model code of conduct by campaigning on voting day.
Bedi showed some visuals to reporters, and claimed that the AAP was offering bribes to voters to exercise their franchise in its favour.
"Shameless incident recorded by media channels where men, women, young girls narrated how their vote was being bought by an unethical party," Bedi tweeted, referring to the AAP.
AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal said the BJP will gain nothing by levelling such allegations.
He denied the bribery allegation and said his opponents were spreading rumours.
"Such video will not cost us anything," he said, adding that people had already decided this time whom to vote for and truth will win.
The AAP's legal cell asked the Election Commission to act against Bedi as she was allegedly part of a 'padyatra' and a bike rally in her Krishna Nagar constituency Saturday.
In a letter signed by Rishikesh Kumar of the legal cell, the AAP said Bedi was accompanied by hundreds of BJP workers armed with campaign material. It said Bedi also spoke to the voters.
"Please do the needful ... against Bedi," the complaint said.
