Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday said BJP was playing 'politics' in the name of lord Ram.
"BJP has been playing politics in the name of Ram and it has nothing to do with faith (shraddha) in him," Nitish Kumar told media persons here in reference to RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat's statement on the Ram temple issue.
The chief minister said BJP was keen to keep alive the issue of building a Ram temple at Ayodhya for the sake of political gain.
"BJP leaders talk about Ram temple but they failed to remember the dates of court hearing in this connection."
The Ram temple issue could be solved only through negotiations between the two communities.
"By giving political colour to the Ram temple issue, sentiments have been inflamed till date."
