Book Ola ride from Zomato app

Ride-hailing app Ola and food delivery platform Zomato on Thursday announced a partnership in which users will be able to book an Ola ride to the restaurant from the Zomato app.

Zomato will integrate Ola APIs into its app and enable easy access to customers looking for eating-out options.

"This partnership with Zomato brings increased convenience, seamless mobility and dining or ordering experience to the customers of both the platforms," said Saurabh Mishra, Director-Alliances at Ola, in a statement.

Ola Money will be integrated within the Zomato app and website. Its partner restaurants will also set up special zones where customers can book an Ola cab.

"We are delighted to partner with Ola in enabling a seamless mobility experience for our customers and help them access Zomato during their rides on Ola Play," added Mukund Kulashekaran, Business Head-Online Ordering at Zomato.

The users will also be able to view restaurant options, read reviews, order food and make table reservations through a customised Zomato micro-app on Ola Play.
