British cycling stars Trott and Kenny engaged

English track and road cyclist Laura Trott has announced her engagement to fellow British Olympic cycling star Jason Kenny.

"Merry Christmas everyone. I've had the most amazing couple of days thanks to @JasonKenny107 and the whole family #engaged"," she wrote on Twitter Thursday.

Both riders won two gold medals on the track at the 2012 London Olympics.

Kenny, 26, was successful in the team sprint and individual sprint, while Trott, 22, took gold in the team pursuit and omnium events.
