Chelsea's Brazilian defender David Luiz is going to join Paris St Germain on a reportedly record fee.

English Premier League club Chelsea announced Friday that both clubs had "agreed terms for the transfer" and the transfer will be completed once the player agrees personal terms and passes a medical, reports Xinhua.

Luiz's move is reported to be worth a world record fee for a defender of $84 million.

Luiz, 27, joined the west Londoners from Benfica January 2011. He made only 19 appearances in the Premier League this season.
