The move is part of the 2013 anti-graft plan as outlined in a report tabled by the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) in a meeting Monday, China Daily reported.
The meeting, held by the political bureau of the CPC Central Committee, was presided over by Xi Jinping, general secretary of CPC Central Committee.
A statement after the meet urged the party to strengthen "a sense of hardship, risk and responsibility," exert more efforts to handle corruption and prevent corruptive behaviours from spreading.
"The fight against corruption is still arduous... and a small number of party members still has a weak sense of responsibility."
Stressing equal attention to prevention and punishment, the statement called on all CPC departments to intensify supervision of officials' adherence to various disciplines as well as party policies and decisions.
The statement called for limits and supervision of officials' power and campaigns to promote a clean work ethos at grassroots levels.
