Megastar Chiranjeevi, who was last seen on the big screen in his son Ram Charan's Telugu actioner "Bruce Lee: The Fighter" in a cameo earlier this year, is all set to star in the remake of Tamil blockbuster "Kaththi".
"The project has been finally locked. It will be the official remake of 'Kaththi', and it will be directed by V.V. Vinayak," a source close to Ram Charan, who will produce the film, told IANS.
The project will be Chiranjeevi's 151st film and it will go on floors early this year. It will mark Ram Charan's debut as a producer.
Originally helmed by A.R. Murugadoss, the film dealt with problems faced by farmers due to multi-national corporations.
The rest of the cast is being finalised.
