Arsenal's French head coach Arsene Wenger on Wednesday dismissed reports that he would leave the helm at the London football club this summer and maintained that he will always respect his contract.

After a disappointing campaign this season, and with one year to go on his contract, Wenger has been called on to leave the club, especially after the recent 1-1 English Premier League (EPL) substandard home draw against Crystal Palace last Sunday, reports Efe.

According to the Mirror, Wenger insisted in a presser on Wednesday that he has no plans to walk away from Arsenal this summer. "I do not want to come back on that, I respect always my contract," asserted the 66-year-old, who is Arsenal head coach since 1996.

Wenger, who was then pressed if there was any chance he could go this summer replied: "Look, I've just answered your question."

The Mirror added that Arsenal is expecting over 50,000 to turn up for Thursday's home clash with West Bromwich Albion, but it will be short of the 60,000 capacity at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners' coach added "Look, everybody is free to do what he wants with his season ticket. We have to live with that. It's a Thursday night, it's unusual (for a kick-off time).

"We just had a disappointing result at home, maybe that plays a part as well. First of all it's not experienced yet and we have to live with that," he said.

Arsenal will host West Bromwich Albion on Thursday in week 34 of the EPL, as the Gunners hold fourth place with 60 points.
