Electricals major Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited (CGCEL) on Friday said that it posted a stand-alone net profit of Rs 91.94 crore in the quarter ended June 30, 2016.
It had posted a net loss of Rs 0.07 crore in the corresponding quarter in 2015.
Its total net income from operations in the quarter under review stood at Rs 1120.84 crore, the company said in a filing to BSE.
In the April-June quarter, electrical company's revenue from lighting products stood at Rs 247.75 crore while its revenue from electric consumer durables stood at Rs 873.09 crore.
"During the quarter, the company issued non-convertible debentures of Rs 650 crore on private placement basis. The proceeds were used to retire the existing term loan," the filing said.
