India's Dipika Pallikal and Saurav Ghosal entered the semi-finals of the squash mixed doubles semi-finals, even as the other pair of Joshna Chinappa and Harinder Pal Sandhu crashed out of the quarters at the 21st Commonwealth Games here on Thursday.
Dipika and Saurav defeated Tesni Evans and Peter Creed of Wales in straight games 2-0 (11-8, 11-10) in a 38-minute match to advance to the last four.
In the semi-final on Friday, the Indian duo will face Joelle King and Paul Coll of New Zealand.
Coll and King defeated the other Indian pair of Joshna Chinappa and Harinder Pal Sandhu 2-0 (11-10, 11-10) in a gruelling quarter-final that lasted for 33 minutes.
