The Delhi government at the next cabinet meeting Friday will discuss the parameters of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) for a probe into the 1984 anti-Sikh riots, Education Minister Manish Sisodia said Wednesday.
"We had promised to demand an SIT probe into the 1984 anti-Sikh riots in our election manifesto. We will take it up in our next cabinet meeting Friday," Sisodia said.
He also said the Aam Aadmi Party had held a rally to demand an SIT probe before the Delhi elections.
"Our protest at the Jantar Mantar was to motivate the Sikh youths," he said.
