The sun in the sky made for a slightly better Monday for Delhiites who experienced chilly days over the weekend. A cold wind blew all across the national capital.
The Met department has forecast foggy Tuesday morning.
Though there was a light mist in the morning, flight operations were normal in the capital.
Over 35 trains were late, said an official of the Indian Railways.
While the fog cover in Delhi has thinned over the past couple of days allowing for smooth air operations, several trains continued to be affected because of heavy backlog and dense fog in other parts of north India.
Monday's minimum temperature was recorded five notches above average at 12.5 degrees Celsius, while maximum was 18.4 - three notches below average.
Tuesday's maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 19 and 10 degrees Celsius, respectively.
