Dengue alert: Kejriwal makes surprise visit to hospitals

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday made surprise visits to hospitals in the national capital to check dengue alertness, government officials said.

"The chief minister has visited Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital and will also visit Hedgewar Hospital," a Delhi government official said.

The data released by the three civic bodies - North Delhi Municipal Corporation, South Delhi Municipal Corporation and East Delhi Municipal Corporation - on Monday, said that till September 12, the number of deaths due to dengue was five and total dengue cases have gone up to 1,872.
