DMK president M.Karunanidhi Monday said his party would finalise the seat sharing agreement with its alliance partners - VCK, MMK, IUML and PT - in two days as there are no other new parties to align with for fighting the general elections.
Speaking to reporters here, Karunanidhi said there is no space for any new party in the alliance and the seats for the alliance parties will be finalised in two days.
The DMK was hoping to rope in DMDK floated by actor-turned-politician A.Vijayakant as a poll ally. However Vijayakant has not responded to Karunanidhi's open invitation.
Asked about the party's manifesto, the DMK chief said it will also be released in two days.
Queried about the new faces that would contest in the polls as rival AIADMK has given seats for several new faces, Karunanidhi said: "The list of candidates is soon to be released. The answer to your question would be found there."
