Borussia Dortmund's sporting director Michael Zorc has said that forward Marco Reus will remain on the sidelines due to the injury he has in the abductor muscle, which prevented him from joining Germany during the Euro football championship in France.
In remarks published by Kicker on Monday, Zorc said that Reus' return date is yet to be determined, and stressed that the 27-year-old should take all the time he needs to fully recover.
Despite Reus' importance for the team, Dortmund will not rush his return amid the availability of several impressive players, reports Efe.
Dortmund are currently preparing for the Legia Warsaw tie next Wednesday in the first round of the UEFA Champions League group stage.
