University of Delhi (DU) Friday signed a pact with the University of Michigan to promote collaboration in research and teaching activities, a statement issued by DU said.
"The partnership with Michigan University is seen as an indispensable resource and DU is trying to create both national and international opportunities for the new generation of talent," said Dinesh Singh, DU vice chancellor.
The pact will enable DU students to study with reputed Michigan scientists and engage in short term projects with them.
"Our respective universities are good at undergraduate education. We look forward to faculty and student exchange programmes, particularly those that emphasise experiential learning," said Mary Sue Coleman, president of University of Michigan.
