Actor Dwayne Johnson, under his Seven Bucks Productions, will produce an adaptation of graphic novel "Son of Shaolin".
The book is written by Jay Longino.
Sources describe the project as a contemporary story about the Chinese martial art Kung Fu, reports deadline.com.
Johnson is currently filming for "Fast and Furious 8", "Jumanji" reboot and "Rampage".
The script will be penned by "Skiptrace" screenplay writer Longino, who will also be executive producer of the project alongside Ryan Kalil.
