Actor Silambarasan aka Simbu has crooned a peppy number in actor-composer G.V. Prakash Kumar-starrer Tamil actioner "Bruce Lee".

"It's a lovely 'kuthu' (peppy) number. Simbu recorded the song in a couple of hours. It has come out very well," a source from the film's unit told IANS.

Directed by debutant Prasanth Pandiyaraj, the film also stars Kriti Kharbanda.

Confirming the news, Kumar, who is also the composer of the movie, wrote on his Twitter page: "Simbu sings a super kuthu song for 'Bruce Lee'."

Produced by Kenanya Films, the film is slated for release in August.
