Eight prisoners were injured here in a clash between two groups inside the Tihar Jail, the official said Sunday.
"The clash was an outcome of a fight for dominance among the prisoners," a jail official said.
The two groups, lodged in jail number 3, suddenly started fighting around 4 p.m. They were separated with the help of jail wardens and security personnel, the official said.
A total of eight inmates received minor injuries and were taken to Deen Dayal Upadhaya hospital.
Police has been informed about the clash. A case will be registered, the official added.
