Figueirense returned to Brazilian football's top tier following a 1-1 draw with Bragantino in the last round of the Serie B championship.
The result Saturday gave the Florianopolis outfit the point they needed to be the fourth and final club to secure promotion, reports Xinhua.
"Everybody here contributed," a jubilant Figueirense coach Vinicius Eutropio said after the match.
"We wouldn't have achieved this without the self belief we had. We never gave up the fight and the transformation within the club has been incredible."
Palmeiras, Chapecoense and Sport had already guaranteed their place in the Serie A next season.
For Figuierense, Palmeiras and Sport, promotion comes just a year after they were relegated from the elite division.
