Enchanted Valley Carnival (EVC), which started with electrifying performances by renowned musicians such as David Guetta and Alien Chutney, came to a thumping end with DJ duo New World Punx (NWP) -- Ferry Corsten and Markus Schulz's concluding it with their adrenaline pumping act.
Corsten and Schulz, known for their trance music, made the audience jump and dance when they belted out some melodious tracks and then moved to the fast paced beats. They didn't forget to give the Indian audience a taste of their forte -- trance.
Grammy Award winning DJ and music producer Guetta was the highlight of the event, but Corsten and Schulz too managed to rock the stage with their energy on the last day, which was Sunday.
With a lot of modulations with the tempo and the mood of the audience, they entertained the guests with tracks like "A sky full of stars" and "Safe and sound" with a twist.
"India can you feel it. EVC make some noise. You guys were absolutely amazing," Corsten said while Schulz did heart hand gestures to show his love for the audience.
Another highlight of the final day was Israeli Electronic Dance Music producer and DJ Borgore, known for bold lyrics. He took to the stage amid fan frenzy and the energy of the crowd impressed him so much so that he waved the Indian flag during his performance.
Kaiserdisco, Jon Rundell, Nawed Khan and Aly & Fila too made a mark at the three-day multi-genre festival, which started Dec 19 at Aamby Valley, Lonavala.
The second edition brought electronic music lovers together to celebrate the power of music. However, it was not all about music as food and adventure activities like bungee jumping turned the venue into a one-stop destination for fun.
One guy was seen holding a placard that read: "My girlfriend said me or EVC and I'm here". Funky sunglasses and colourful wigs were also rampant at the venue.
