Four Maoist militia commanders Monday surrendered in Odisha's Malkangiri district, police said.
Muli Golori, Tilsu Khilo, Kamlu Gadnayak and Damburu Khilo surrendered at Malkangiri town, about 620 km from here. They are aged between 28 and 30 years, Superintendent of Police Akhileswar Singh told IANS.
They provided logistic support to members of Communist Party of India-Maoist in the district's Kalimela region, he said.
They will each be provided a house under the Indira Awas Yojana and Rs.1 lakh under the state government's rehabilitation policy for Maoists.
Maoists are active in more than half of Odisha's 30 districts.
