Freecharge, a digital payment platform, on Thursday announced its partnership with bus aggregator platform Shuttl to help over 15,000 commuters in Delhi-NCR to go cashless for daily commuting.
"Our partnership with Shuttl is to make daily payments more convenient for consumers. To drive adoption of digital payments, we need to ensure payments are not just safer but swifter than cash too," said Sudeep Tandon, Chief Business Officer, Freecharge, in a statement.
With over 20,000 rides per day and approximately 400 buses on over 100 routes, Shuttl will be able to offer its commuters a swifter and secured way to pay with Freecharge.
"Together we will be able to drive the adoption of shared commute on a tech platform that will give consumers a safe, reliable and comfortable ride. In our efforts to battle congestion and pollution, we welcome Freecharge as our partner and friend," commented Amit Singh, Co-Founder, Shuttl.
