Turkish football club Galatasaray has signed a contract with Aurelien Chedjou from French Lille club.
Galatasaray announced Thursday that they had signed a four-year contract worth 6.3 million euro with the 26-year-old centre back, reports Xinhua.
According to the contract, Galatasaray will also pay an annual salary of 2.2 million euro to the Cameroonian defender.
It is the first transfer for Galatasaray in the 2013-2014 season. The Turkish champions, who parted ways with its Czech defender, Tomas Ujfalusi, had reportedly been in contact with the French club for sometime.
