Actress Gena Rowlands, who has earned two Golden Globes and four Emmys, will be honoured by Los Angeles Film Critics Association (LAFCA) for her contribution to film and television.
The 84-year-old will receive annual Career Achievement award. Rowlands will be feted at an event held Jan 15, reports hollywoodreporter.com.
She is best known for collaborating with her husband and director John Cassavetes. She appeared in 10 of his films like "Gloria" and "A Woman Under the Influence".
Rowlands' recent projects include films like "The Notebook" and "The Skeleton Key". She has also appeared in TV shows like "NCIS" and "Monk".
