The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has changed the date for next month's World Cup qualifier against Egypt in Kumasi, Ghana's second largest commercial city.
The first-leg of the clash had been fixed for Oct 13 at the Baba Yara Stadium, reports Xinhua.
But the GFA, in a release Friday, changed the date for the match to Oct 15, to give Kwasi Appiah, head coach of the Black Stars, more training time with the team before the match.
"It also falls in line with FIFA's decision of playing the first leg of the playoffs between Oct 11 and 15," said the release.
The second leg is planned for between Nov 5 and 19 in Egypt at a venue to be decided later.
Two-leg ties will be played between both nations with the aggregate winner going to the finals in Brazil next year.
