Goa governor's Hindi songs CD released by Rajnath

An audio CD of songs written by Goa Governor Mridula Sinha was released on Friday by Home Minister Rajnath Singh.

Lauding Sinha for her creative work in Hindi despite her hectic political career, Rajnath Singh at a function here on Friday said playing of the CD, which contains songs like "Hindi Bharat Maa ki Bindi", should be made mandatory at 'Hindi Diwas' functions.

He commended the department of official language under the home ministry for promoting the use of Hindi in computers.

Sinha on the occasion said she was very intimately linked to Hindi literature.
