Indian professional mountain biking team Hero Action Team rode to the highest peak in southern Himachal - Churdhar - situated at an elevation of 3,650 metres above sea level.
The team of Ankush Arya, Gurman Reen, Shiven Sharma and Sanchit Sood and Vicky Brijesh braved cold weather and cycled through the roughest paths unsuitable for bikers to scale one of the toughest terrains in the country in 14 hours.
"It was a very adventurous expedition and a lifetime experience with lots of thrill. During the expedition people were excited and shocked at the same time as the paths where they were scared to walk, that very same route and the Churdhar peak was conquered by us on mountain bikes," team captain Ankush said.
