A cold wave continued to sweep Himachal Pradesh Saturday, with higher reaches of the state shivering under sub-zero temperatures.
The minimum temperature in Shimla was 3 degrees Celsius, an official of the local meteorological office told IANS. The state capital, however, has been witnessing sunny days for the past many days.
Keylong in Lahaul-Spiti district and Kalpa in Kinnaur district recorded minimum temperatures of minus 10.3 and minus 1.8 degrees, respectively.
Dalhousie in Chamba district recorded a low of 3 degrees, while it was minus 3.8 degrees in popular tourist resort Manali. The night temperature in Dharamsala stood at 4.4 degrees.
The Met Office has forecast no snow or rain across the state till Dec 31.
