She has essayed a doctor, been a narrator for a cyber crime show, and is currently seen as a journalist in a TV show. Kritika Kamra says she prefers content-driven projects over "saas-bahu dramas".

"When I'm associated with a show, I want to be a part of something that I would enjoy watching. I can't be a part of something that drags. I don't enjoy the saas-bahu dramas... I don't watch it (and) I'm not that audience," Kritika told IANS on the phone from Mumbai.

She said there is an audience like her that is constantly looking for differentiated content on Indian television.

"And there is such less to choose from," added the actress, who has received a Cyber Celebrity Award for hosting the show "MTV Webbed".

She says she enjoys playing a variety of roles as it helps her to "learn something and get to be a part of a new world, reinvent and be different".

The 26-year-old stressed that her motive is to be in shows which are high on "content", rather than being high on TRPs (Television Rating Points).

"My whole idea is that I want to be a part of the shows that are remembered for the quality of content...and not remembered for the TRPs."

Her ongoing show "Reporters" is soon going to get wrapped up. "It was supposed to be a finite series," she said.

Kritika is "glad" that the show is a finite series because "it comes to a logical conclusion and it doesn't go on for years and leaps happen and (the story gets) dragged."

In "Reporters", Kritika shares screen space with Rajeev Khandelwal.
