IFB Industries Ltd, manufacturers of home appliances, have tied up with Argentine football club Boca Juniors to unearth talent from India.
This is the first ever programme for both schools and colleges under a single banner and will attract participation from leading schools and colleges from all around the country. IFB Boca Juniors Football Champs is a unique event to look out for the next team of promising Indian football stars.
This Pan India tournament will travel to eight cities across the country namely -- Chandigarh, New Delhi, Goa, Pune, Bangalore, Kozhikode, Kolkata and Shillong. At each venue, a separate tournament will be held for schools and colleges.
Winners from each leg will get a chance to play the national finals in Goa. The final winners will get the chance to go to Beunos Aires, Argentina and get trained under the coaches of Boca Juniors.
The Delhi event takes place on Dec 7-8 at Ambedkar Stadium.
