The Indian men's team finished fifth in the 25 metre standard pistol event of the 17th Asian Games at the Ongnyeon International Shooting Range here Thursday.
The Indian team comprising Gurpreet Singh, Mahaveer Singh and Samresh Jung scored 1684-34x as they faltered in the individual event as well.
Gurpreet took fifth position in the individual event with 570-14x while Mahaveer was 17th with 559-13x. Veteran shooter Jung finished 24th with 555-10x.
The team gold went to Chinese trio of Feng Ding, Youngde Jin and Chuanlin Li, who fired a combined score of 1710-44x. Feng Ding also won the individual gold.
South Korea and Singapore won team silver and bronze, respectively.
