Actor-director James Franco wants to cast actors John Hamm and Danny McBride in his forthcoming film "The Sound and the Fury".
The "Spring Breakers" actor is planning to adapt William Faulkner's 1929 eponymous novel for a movie, which he will star in and direct as well, reports contactmusic.com.
Franco is keen that Hamm plays patriarch Compson in the film, which is set in the early 20th century, and tells the story of southern US aristocrats, the Compson family, who fall on tough times.
"We're in pretty good shape, but there are a few more things that have to happen before we're good," he said.
