A harmony of old and new melodies from Japan coupled with the energetic beats of the Indian tabla is in store for enthusiasts of world music at a concert here Dec 9.
Japanese duo Aki and Kuniko will showcase a blend of sounds of modern acoustic guitar and the country's traditional string instrument koto, accompanied by Indian percussionist Tanmoy Bose at Rabindra Okakura Bhavan in east Kolkata.
