Singer-actress Jennifer Lopez is reportedly set to return as a judge for the forthcoming season of singing reality show "American Idol".
The 44-year-old, who was a part of the 2011 season, is now in negotiations for a spot in the show's 13th edition. She was not a part of the show in the last season.
Lopez is reportedly nearing an agreement with broadcasting company Fox, reports people.com.
"(J-Lo is) very close to signing a deal with Fox to return to 'American Idol' next season. Both Fox and Jennifer are very happy about this and want it to happen very much," said a source.
