Singer Joe Jonas has opened Hinterland, a new eatery, in Santa Monica.
Jonas announced the opening of his new restaurant, via social networking sites Twitter and Instagram.
The 25-year-old posted a photograph of the eatery alongside map directions to the venue on Twitter. On Instagram, he shared a glimpse of the menu and captioned it: "Open for business #Hinterland #YUM #cristal", reports aceshowbiz.com.
Hinterland is a German word that refers to land behind a coastline. Its fare is reportedly "a seasonal Southern Atlantic (think Charleston and Savannah) restaurant using local produce, with a full raw bar."
In the wake of its grand opening last week, Hinterland has had celebrity fans, including Jonas' former girlfriend Camilla Belle, who gushed on Instagram: "New must try spot in LA!! #Hinterland #foodie #yummy," and singer Paris Carney.
