Boxing legend Muhammad Ali, rumoured to be battling ill health, is reportedly active on social media.

In a Twitter post, the Parkinson's patient has posted a photograph -- his second on social media in three months.

Also, in his latest tweet, Ali praised youngest daughter Laila Ali, who has become a TV boxing pundit, reports mirror.co.uk.

He tweeted: "So proud of @TheRealLailaAli, my baby girl. 1st female boxing analyst with NBC Premier Boxing Champions. #AliTweet "

It comes after the father-of-nine was admitted to hospital in December 2014, due to pneumonia. He was released from hospital in time to celebrate his 73rd birthday with his family.

Ali's last public appearance was in September 2014 at the Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Awards.
