Delhiites woke up to a pleasant Monday morning, with overcast skies and light drizzle. The minimum temperature settled at 23.5 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the season. The Met office has forecast more rain later in the day.
"The skies will remain cloudy with the possibility of light rain and thundershowers," said an official from the India Metrological Department (IMD).
The maximum temperature will hover around 33 degrees Celsius.
According to the IMD, the national capital received 0.2 mm of rain since 8.30 a.m. Sunday.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. Monday stood at 86 percent.
Since the monsoon's arrival in June, Delhi has got 637 mm of rain, 33 percent more than average.
Sunday's maximum temperature dipped a notch below average at 33.1 degrees Celsius, while the minimum settled two notches below average at 24.4 degrees Celsius.
