It was pleasant weather in the national capital with light rain in many parts of the city Monday afternoon. The Met has forecast a cloudy Tuesday with rain in many parts of the city.
"Tuesday will also be cloudy and will receive rain in many parts of the city," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum and the minimum temperature of the day is likely to hover around 33 degrees and 25 degrees Celsius, respectively.
"The maximum temperature Monday was recorded at 35.3 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average," he added.
The minimum temperature of the day was recorded 24.6 degrees Celsius, two notches below the average.
Sunday's maximum temperature settled at 34 degrees Celsius - average for this time of the season - while the minimum was 25 degrees Celsius, slightly below the average.
