West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Sunday expressed her concern over the health of her Tamil Nadu counterpart J. Jayalalithaa, who suffered a cardiac arrest in the evening.
"Very concerned about the health of Jayalalitha Ji," said Banerjee on her official Twitter handle.
She wished a speedy recovery to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister.
"Like my friends in Tamil Nadu, I am praying for her speedy recovery. May God bless her," said Banerjee.
Jayalalithaa suffered a cardiac arrest on Sunday evening and is being treated by a team of specialists at Apollo Hospitals, where she has been admitted since September 22.
